SMC (Name Protected)"Project Augmentation" Case Study
SMC was created to provide design simulation and analysis software to the engineering market. SMC Advanced Engineering Environment automates many of the activities typically performed during a conventional Product Design process in addition to supporting activities often overlooked. Their suite of advanced engineering tools accomplishes reduction of design times and costs, without limiting the design detail or flexibility of results.

Previous onsite vendor could not deliver the product on time and were cost prohibitive.

The CTO approached Web Yoga for an alternative solution arrangement.

Web Yoga replaced Cap-Gemini's (now Sogeti) project development team with a more expert team consisting of Senior Java Architect/Dev Leads, Java Engineers, Web Developers, DBA's and QA engineers.

The Web Yoga Team, working with the SMC engineers have successfully re-designed, architected and implemented the system to meet the customer timelines.

System Stability, scalability and performance metrics were achieved in the first 9 months of the project.
